Former Watford & Fulham Manager Hails Teerasil As The Best Thai Player

The 51 years old Serbian manager, Slaviša Jokanović, who was at the helm of Muangthong United FC during their invincible run in 2012, has named Shimizu S-Pulse and Thai national team striker, Teerasil Dangda, as the most talented Thai player under him!

‘There are many outstanding players in the Thai League throughout my career in Thailand. Buriram United and Chonburi FC post a list of good players as well but if I had to choose one player it would be from the team I’ve coached, Muangthong! In 2012, Muangthong had many exceptional players such as Pichitphong Choeichiu, Dagno Siaka, Mario Djurovski, Sarach Yooyen, Kawin Thamsatchanan, Jakkapan Pornsai, Mongkol Namnuad, and Datsakorn Thonglao, just to name a few.

However, the player that had always stood out and be on the pitch at all times for me was Teerasil Dangda. Whenever he is on the field, the team was guaranteed a goal. On top of that, Teerasil has unmatched speed, stamina, and finishing ability. Therefore, he is the best player for me on the team and, I even dare say, the whole country during my course in Thailand!’
